Lots of people love the idea of Yalla. The interface is simple…maybe even too simple if that’s possible. Sometimes we have someone sign up for Yalla and subsequently stop using it without ever knowing whats “underneath the hood” as they say. Here are 5 Yalla features you’ve got to know before you hit the road in search of another tool.
Client Discussions
We use discussions more than anything else within Yalla. Because Yalla is also a CRM, we’re able to have conversations with our clients straight from Yalla. This ensures that all conversations and commitments are centralized and not taking place through text messages on someone’s personal cell phone or being lost in a jungle of email threads. If you start a discussion out of Yalla, your client will get an email. If they replay to that email, it will append the message they send back into the Yalla discussion thread that you started.
Transferring Priorities
Did you realize that if you have a project or task on your list, you can easily drag it over to someone else’s list? Yep! All you’ve got to do is place your cursor over the left portion of the priority where the number is and then click and drag it over the face of the person you’d like to assign it to. They’ll then get a push notification or email letting them that you just transferred a priority over to them. The ball is in their court now!
Add Your Own Sounds To Chat
This is definitely one of our favorite things to do. We use Yalla’s built in chat feature (Command Center) to communicate on everything that we do. We use our funny sounds to keep the conversation light and the culture fun. So find a few fun sounds and images, put them together and start using Command Center to have some fun. Command Center can also be used to chat with your clients…so don’t leave them out of the action!
Time Keeping & Invoicing
One of the reasons we built Yalla was because many of the other task and project management systems did not have time keeping and billing features built in. We wanted to be able to set up clients and then associate tasks, projects, and time against those clients so that everything we did for that client was consolidated into one area and billed if necessary.
The Fullfillment Funnel’s
We wanted a simple way to keep track of Sales prospects without having those prospects build up on our Yalla home page. So we built a simple sales tool for people to track their prospects using the simple drag and drop funnel you are accustomed to in Yalla.
